Analyzing Your Channel Distribution Approach

Research Creates the Strategy the Supports Vision

All growth-oriented business strategies begin with two important elements:

  1. A Vision
  2. Strategies to achieve the Vision based on Facts.
Channel Distribution Strategy, Jim Kahmann

Vision

The Vision begins with the CEO's idea of what he/she wants the company to look like in the future. Getting there is based on a number of variables (we will address these later). But the first step is forging a corporate strategy that is anchored in market reality is gaining FACTS. Facts are obtained only through deep-dive research, digging into the nooks and crannies of the market landscape. This involves meeting with stakeholders, studying competition and analyzing price points, just to name a few.

Research

Kahmann Elements begins every client engagement with research. We call this the Kahmann Audit. We review our findings with key management members. Once we reach agreement, we work in concert with our client team and begin our work to develop plans and strategies to achieve the client's vision.
